I am Emily, the author behind this blog, where I aspire to share my writings, musings, and life experiences. My aim is to foster a deeper connection between you and the God of the Bible. Until heaven, it is our mission as believers on earth to shine as beacons in the darkest of times.

In today's world, I observe that many who identify as Christians exhibit a jarring disparity between their professed beliefs and their actual lives. Could it be that their words resound without genuine action? Although they profess faith in Jesus, do their deeds align with the commands etched in the Scriptures? Do they immerse themselves daily in His teachings, drawing sustenance and guidance?

My genuine aspiration and ultimate objective through this blog are to inspire you to explore the Bible on your own, contemplate its verses deeply, absorb its essence, and take pleasure in its wisdom throughout your lifetime. Mere sporadic readings driven by emotions or the pursuit of spiritual highs fall short. It is like eating appetizers and breadsticks, neglecting the nutritious main meal course through systematic study of the Bible. My desire is for you to embrace the identity of a committed follower of His Word, willingly and joyfully cultivating a consistent practice in order to be continually sanctified and refined to be more like Jesus.

If the only time your Bible leaves your shelf is on Sundays, you need to do a heart check. Perhaps you do not value it as much as you should. A Christian lifestyle does not begin and end on Sundays, but rather a between-the-Sunday way of life for the rest of your life until heaven takes you Home.

In a world where trustworthiness is elusive, where news and media falter, the Bible remains our steadfast foundation. Amidst the storms that rattle us from all directions—mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically—His Word is the only harbor and anchor in those moonless nights.
